I bought Apples (No-agrochemicals) at Union SQ Green Market today. These were all different shapes. They look super UGLY, but I really love them.

Big difference in temperature between this and last week...
A week ago, temperature was 72 °F, it was almost summer.
Yesterday, we got the first of the spring gales.
This morning, temperature was 30 °F.... OMG....
Stay warm everybody, and enjoy cherry blossom season!

It's a Vegan Osechi.
Osechi-ryōri are traditional Japanese New Year foods. The tradition started in the Heian Period (794-1185). Osechi are easily recognizable by their special boxes called jūbako, which resemble bentō boxes. Like bentō boxes, jūbako are often kept stacked before and after use.
